September and the change
Diary of an author 06
September brings not only autumn but also a lot of change.
Hello, writing person!
Do you remember the announcement in ... July? My debut novel is now officially coming to the book market on 10/01/2024! Part 1 of the Time Loop Trilogy is on its way to your bookshelf, and you can already look forward to the second book, which is currently in progress. There are still three chapters to go before I revise the finished manuscript and send it to my text editor.
Additionally, one of the two major projects I wrote about in the last post here is in the final stages of revision - drumroll - there will be a writing guide for authors! On this part of the website, which you can access through a monthly subscription, you will find everything you need for your novels. But why a writing guide? Aren't there already tens of thousands of those on the market? And YouTube is always helpful too. Of course! What do you think, where do you think I got my information from? ;) From countless nights spent searching the internet for "the one" guide that would finally make me a writer, this guide was born. Fourteen years of writing and learning; Of further development and refinement. Every single question I have ever asked myself, and those posed to me by clients in writing coaching, I have addressed and answered in it.
This writing guide has been in the works for over two years now, and I am so excited and equally proud to finally bring it into the world.
Of course, you will also be kept up to date with the latest insights here. Feel free to check out my Threads account, where I do Q&As for writers and authors that are just super interesting. Maybe you'll find inspiration there too.
And then Preptober and NaNoWriMo will follow soon - do you plan to participate?
Until the next post, I wish you a wonderful time.
Lady Elisa Marie
